Holy shit, I did it. Thank you

Blog 1

In the last 10 days I have (in no particular order) :

  • Stopped asking permission to Be Me
  • Quit my last fuckass and corporate job
  • Comitted to doing my art at my own capacity
  • Gathered, Arranged, and Organized all the bits and pieces and logistics of what turned into this whole website
  • Spent more time with amazing people
  • Felt some unfamiliar (and uncomfortable) emotions & body chemistry like actual euphoria
  • Broke AND fixed my website after I soft launched it yesterday
  • Had uncomfortable conversations with my family about quitting aforementioned fuckass corporate job, and what comes next
  • Didn't completely lose my mind when people kept asking how the job search is going (its not, btw, because I'm not looking for a job, I built my own tyvfm)
  • Met with 3 different art programs to see about September or October admission (yolo)
  • Kept going to Therapy
  • Had more time for my Cats (because I'm no longer out of the house for 55 hours of the week
  • Most likely other accomplishments I have in this moment forgotten about, and that's ok

I do want to take the time to acknowledge my privilege and circumstance regarding all these abrupt changes.

Not every Disabled Neurospicy Artist can just up and leave their shit jobs abruptly and still have security in housing, food, and amenities for themselves and their two cats.

So big thanks to my parents for continuing to support my disabled ass, and my cats.

Big thanks to all my friends who put up with all my questions and silliness and my bullshit.

And big thanks to You, reader, for being here and sharing this journey with me.

I do not have an itemized and layed out plan on how this art adventure is going to go. I have no idea if this is even going to work out or not. But I am determined to give this my best while respecting my own capacities, whatever they look like in the moment.

So follow along with me on this adventure, and let's see where this can go!

I hope your day is gentle to you and whimsical af

I Appreciate You
